Is it too late......
...to post pictures from Christmas? I did make an effort last week but for some reason the computer wouldn't cooperate with me. It's late and I still have lots to do around here so I'll make the text brief and just share a bit about the pictures. I wish I had more but I think in the complete enjoyment of the moments we just forgot to pick up the camera. We had a wonderful Christmas and feel so blessed for all our family and friends.
A huge bonus of our Christmas vacation and surely something our kids will remember their whole lives is spending the weekend at the Wood house. We had planned to celebrate Christmas with the Woods and Zehms over the weekend before Christmas but what we didn't plan on was a weekend long slumber party! We headed to Federal Way Saturday afternoon in hopes of missing the "historic" wind storm that was headed our way (wind never showed up) and stay with the Wood family along with the Zehms who were traveling over from Leavenworth. Well turns out the snow was much more of a threat then the wind and we got to stay an extra night due to the icy roads. We are so thankful for that time and Stacy, Doug, Madi and Jack were SOOOO very gracious to host not only our family of six but Shelly,Kris, Bijou and Coco too, and in the middle of all that throw a party for 30+ people. We had so much fun and now have a ton of special memories to hold onto. Definitely one of the highlights of our 2008!
The Poulin, Wood and Zehm girls minus Jo...aren't they a cute bunch?

Christmas morning was a hoot with the kids being completely surprised by their loot from Santa. Santa brought Maggie a digital camera and Sam an electric guitar. They were both thrilled as you can see by the look on Sam's face! Maggie is loving taking pictures and is even planning to be a guest blogger on the poulincrew blogspot!
We kept our Christmas morning tradition of brunch with Grandma and Papa Dacey and Ry and Kristen. They are such good sports to get up and drive over so early in the morning. We are so thankful for that time with them and the kids just eat it up. Auntie Kristen was able to get some good snuggle time with Josie and Uncle Ry and Millie spent some good time in the reading chair.
I leave you with Millie's nativity scene. I took a picture of it because I'm just so worried it won't make it through the year in the packed boxes of decorations. I really wanted to remember this sweet little display of why we celebrate. She just loved her little baby Jesus and spent a lot of time holding this one and the one from our fancy nativity scene. Such a vivid reminder to myself to hold Jesus close all year through. Happy 2009 everyone!
