We realized yesterday afternoon that it was Millie's half birthday. Officially four and a half! We don't normally celebrate half birthdays around here but it was hot, we already had a sleepover planned on the trampoline and it doesn't take much to make this munchkin happy. All evening we gave her "half" birthday wishes and even sang "happy half birthday to you" before eating our donut holes. She, of course, was over the moon! She made the evening super memorable by swimming the length of the pool two times all on her own! No flotation devices needed and of course she contributed the skills to being four and a half. Love that kid! We had a fun and eventful sleepover on the tramp with a couple of the local critters paying us a visit. First to drop in was a skunk sniffing through the recycling on the back deck and after stinky left it was time for the oppussum to have it's turn at the leftovers. This all made for a very interesting night out with four kids. We survived and it was actually nice to escape the heat in the house. Note to self though....if you're sleeping on a trampoline with four kids and you're in the middle be prepared to be squished! Good memories!
I have so many more pictures and memories to document. Lots of fun to share but I'm calling it quits for tonight. This heat {while I'm very thankful for it} is zapping me!
Happy Half Birthday to our sweet Amelia Mae!
