Tomorrow we celebrate my dad~There are so many words to share about my dad but I think this picture so perfectly captures the man he is.....loving, gentle, never afraid to get down on the floor with his kids or grandkids, compassionate, a deep thinker, warm, a bit of a worrier... but that's one of the things I love most about him. He cares for other so deeply he carries their burdens with him. My dad has always been a great source of strength and he has always challenged me to be a thinker. The older I get the more I realize how many of his qualities I possess and that makes me proud. Happy Birthday Dad, I love you!
Josie turned 20 months today...20 months, that's only four months away from 2! Really? I'm having a hard time with that! It seems like this second year is flying faster than I can keep up. She is changing so fast and each day reminds us of how old she is! I really believe God has a sense of humor because her being born on Independence Day couldn't be more fitting! She wants to do everything the big kids are doing and without any help from us. Today she wanted to ride Amelia's big girl bike with training wheels. She brought me the helmet and start climbing on. Boy was she ticked when she realized she couldn't quite get the pedals to do what she wanted! Oh I love that spirit...just gotta point it in the right direction! Love you little Bean and please slow down on the growing!
for today...
One thing I ask of the Lord,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to see him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.
Psalm 27 :4,5
