 Why have I been such a party pooper about buying Halloween costumes?

I caved this year. She picked Supergirl out at Target yesterday.

In 24 hours we have already gotten more than our $17.00 worth.

She begged to wear it to school. I told her "not until Halloween."

Then she begged to take it to the babysitter's.

I sort of, accidentally forgot to pack it in her backpack.

She cried.

She couldn't get it on fast enough.

She ran around in character and collected rocks that gave her "power" and "energy."

She came up with a fun spin move that includes a fake pass to her teammates followed

by a basket for two points.

She shoots, she scores!

Taking a break from saving the world to practice her dribbling.

Yep, so worth the money.
