This picture was taken at Seaside the summer Maggie was four. It's one of my favorites and looking at it I just can't believe how fast time flies! I'm really having a hard time with her turning 7 today! She has really amazed us this past year and has grown tremendously. I don't think we could be more proud of her! Maggie has always been a little ( okay a lot) attached to my side but this year she has matured and blossomed into this confident little 1st grader that often leaves us asking "whose daughter is she"? While I sometimes miss that little person hanging on me I am in awe of her courage, bravery and confidence. She possesses so many incredible qualities that I often think I missed as a young girl. I know this has so much to do with the amazing women in her life. She has been blessed with strong role models...her grandmothers, her aunties, teachers and many of my dear friends. I pray she will always feel the love of those around her and find her strength and refuge in the Lord. You are one great kiddo Lu and we love you to pieces!!
